These are our first "official" photos of each other to use for our webpage...once upon a time! This was the day of my first wedding shoot with him...Yikes! I was scared to death and had NO IDEA what I was doing!
This is more how we really act...
Anyway, here is a little background on how it all started (short version). Two people met through a mutual friend, 600 miles apart...on Myspace! That's right kids...I met my soul mate on the internet!! We definitely had a lot in common and photography was one of those things. He, of course, was a professional photographer with all of the fancy equipment. I just had a little Cannon camera...which he has taken possession of and loves! Weird right?
I was like one of those band groupies the first time we actually met and I saw all the fancy equipment he had! Wowza!! Ha...not really, but I was very impressed...and a little intimidated. I had been doing small projects with my little Cannon for about a year, but nothing compared to what he had been doing for almost 10 years!
So long story short, within a year I packed up and moved to Atlanta to be with the love of my life. That is where it all began...look at me now with my Nikon D40X...still not a pro camera...but getting closer! My speedlight was not in this photo, but I do have one now...what a difference that made!
So here are a couple photos from that first wedding...ever for me!
And here are a couple from the first wedding I ever did ALONE! Even scarier...although, I got to shoot this one at Piedmont Park in Atlanta...I love it there and actually did some engagement shoots at the park too!
Hold up...we don't just photograph weddings anymore, but I think you get the idea! I look forward to building our photograph biz here is WV!
